1988 is a vertical scrolling arcade shooter inspired by early-80s games like 1942, developed by a small team of college students. I worked on a custom engine that uses Vulkan for rendering, ImGui for in-engine tools, and Gateware for low-level support, implementing core gameplay systems and helping shape the overall feel of the shooter.
